Waiting for You

By Nasima

Looking at the door

Waiting for you

To touch my soul

You never come back

I didn’t even know you

When and how

You grew up

The silence of the soul

Made me a stone of patience

I imagine your eyes

How you wait for a hug from someone

You know

They called us unknown

Bird of Freedom

I called you

Like an angel

Your life was sacrificed

To evil’s hand

You never come back

The voice of a music box

How beautiful

Give the child

A book of dance

Free of me

Me and my book

Open, looking for you
